The PABAHAY BONANZA PROGRAM is now extended for another year as the Special Assets Management Sector (SAMS) embarks on selling twice as many as last year’s sales performance! Re-alignment of the Asset Management Sector

In preparation of the forthcoming merger of PNB and Allied Bank, a transitional organization was established in the ASSET MANAGEMENT SECTOR to further boost productivity in the disposal of ROPA amidst a weakening market and further manage expenses by focusing on the efficiencies in the workforce. The Sector was defined between two major functions, namely, Operations and Sales.
 
This led to the spin-off of the operations group, now called the Asset Management Operations Group (AMOG), under the supervision of FVP Maria Carmen R. Benitez. The AMOG will be under the wing of Global Operations Sector headed by EVP Anthony Chua. AMOG shall handle the management of all acquired assets such as payment of taxes, consolidation of titles, placement of caretakers/guards, payment of dues, and the like.
 
Likewise, the Sales Sector underwent a re-organization and changed its name to Special Assets Management Sector (SAMS) with SVP Christian Jerome O. Dobles as its Sector Head. All transactions on the sale of the Bank’s ROPA shall be handled by SAMS. For inquiries and further details, feel free to contact SAMS Customer Service Hotline at (02) 573-4115.

Joint Auction Agreement with Allied Bank renewed

The year kicked off with the Joint Auctions Agreement with Allied Bank Corporation. The synergy of these joint auctions, held nationwide, expanded the exposure and advertising of both banks, enhanced unity in service, and lowered advertising and operational expenses. Eleven auctions were held from the previous year which were successfully concluded by both banks with the active participation of the Banks’ provincial branches across the nation. The program was extended for another year.

Auctions for May 2008

Two auctions are scheduled for this month of May. The first one is set on Davao City this May 15, 2008.  The 2nd one will be held at Roxas City on May 29, 2008.
