Pension Checks

Conversion of Peso Pension Checks to US

PNB LA accepts for immediate encashment pension checks issued by SSS with amount less than P10,000.00. Checks with amount of P10,000.00 and up and issued by same agencies shall be subject to clearing.
 
Requirements:

  1. Completed Application to Purchase Foreign Exchange (Exhibit A) and Fund Transfer Request Form (Exhibit B)

  2. Have the pensioner’s signature witnessed/authenticated by a PNB LA or PNB RCI authorized representative (please call telephone no. 1-800-PNB-8788 for the nearest PNB RCI office in your area). Alternatively, application may be notarized.

  3. Copy of Driver’s License or State ID or Passport. On the copy of ID, please write your U.S. Social Security number if the amount of the check would exceed the dollar equivalent of $2,000 or more.

  4. Proof of current address (such as utility bill) if address indicated in the ID is different from the address written on the Debit Authorization Form.

  5. Completed application forms and other requirements should be mailed together with the checks to the following address:

  • Processing fee is computed at $5.00 for the first check and $3.00 each for every additional check. The fee will be deducted from the dollar proceeds

  • Unless otherwise stated in writing, PNB LA will mail the check covering proceeds in dollars to the given address of the pensioner.

    $7.00 $8.00

    Note: Service charge for PNB Direct Deposit US Dollar Account remains the same at $10.00.

    New charges take effect January 2, 2020.
