Leading cooperative in Mountain Province taps PNB for Employees’ Retirement Fund

Philippine National Bank (PSE: PNB) has been recognized by Euromoney as the Best Bank for Investment Research in the Philippines during its Private Banking Awards. This prestigious accolade marks PNB’s fifth consecutive victory since 2021.
“This marks an important achievement for PNB, and we are proud to receive this recognition for the fifth time,” said PNB Financial Management, Strategy and Sustainability Sector Head, Executive Vice President Francis Albalate said. “This award further underscores our dedication to provide dependable insights to our stakeholders.”
PNB’s Economist and Research Division Head, First Vice President Alvin Arogo, also expressed his gratitude for being consistently recognized by Euromoney. “It’s a strong motivation for us at PNB research team to go even further in delivering sharp, relevant, and timely insights to support the needs of investors, clients, and the banking public,” he said. “Our support for PNB continues as it strengthens client relationships and evolves to meet the dynamic demands of today’s customers.”
According to Euromoney, PNB won the award as the bank “continues to provide comprehensive investment research and economic insights, guiding clients in making informed financial decisions.”
PNB flourished with steady growth and stability as the bank posted a consolidated net income of P6.1 billion in the first three months of 2025, up by 15% against the same period last year. Core income for the first quarter of 2025 amounted to P14.1 billion, increasing by 10% from the same period last year, with net interest margin growing by 9% year-on-year to P12.7 billion.
