Qualifications

New to Bank
  1. Has NO principal PNB Credit Card yet (must be new-to-bank)
  2. Between 21- 65 years of age
  3. Have a minimum annual income of at least P120,000.00
  4. Filipino Citizen residing in the Philippines
  5. If employed, must be a regular employee or if self-employed, business must be profitable for at least 2 years.
  6. For foreign national, applicant must also submit either A or B of the following:
    1.   4. Confirm if existing PNB Credit Cardholder or not.

    1. Applicant should click “NO” to confirm if with existing PNB Credit Card.
    2. Read and agree with the Terms and Conditions.
    3. Fill out the application form and upload needed documents.
    1. Card holder should click “YES” to confirm if with existing PNB Credit Card.
    2. You will be directed to PNB Portal and will ask you to Sign Up* or Log In to your PNB Online account.
    *Sign Up using your existing PNB Credit card to create PNB Online Account.
    3. Use your registered User ID and Password to log in.
    4. On the right side of the screen, click Credit Card Application
    5. Click Additional Card Application then choose from any PNB Mastercard Variant.
    6. You will receive a 6-digit One Time PIN via SMS on your registered mobile number and enter it on the system.
  5. After clicking Submit, a reference number will be reflected to confirm your application and the same will be send thru your registered declared email.
    Documentary requirements for New To Bank applications are the following:
    1. One (1) Valid Government issued photo-bearing ID with signature (e.g. Driver’s License, Passport, TIN, SSS ID, Unified Multi-Purpose ID)
    2. For foreign national, applicant must also submit either A or B of the following:
      1. Working Foreign Nationals in the Philippines
        Passport, Alien Certificate of Residence (ACR), Proof of billing (for non-carded or non-depositor), And any of the following: National ID, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) ID, Social Security Number (SSN) ID, Driver’s License, Work permit issued by DOLE (mandatory requirement) if employed in the Philippines, Company ID issued by private entities or institutions registered with or supervised or regulated either by the BSP, SEC or IC

  4. Standard processing of new to bank application is from 10 to 15 banking days upon receipt of application with complete requirements. Standard processing of second/nth card application is 5 banking days upon receipt of application.
  5. To qualify, application must be done online through PNB Internet Banking within the Promo Period.
  6. Once new to bank application is approved, card holder is entitled to P1,500 Shopping Credit and for approved Second/Nth Card Mastercard, card holder is entitled to P500 Shopping e-voucher with accumulated receipt usage of P3,000 within one statement cycle. Usage should be within 60 days after card delivery to qualify.
  7. Shopping Credit will be reflected on the next billing statement/cycle. SMS containing the Shopping e-voucher will be sent to their mobile number on the next two billing statement/cycle, approximately 60 banking days.
  8. For newly approved credit cards, cardholder can apply for a second card from any of PNB Mastercard variant.
  9. Applications received by August 19, 2021 are still entitled for the shopping credit and shopping e-voucher provided their activation and usage is within 60 days after card delivery.
  10. Qualified transactions shall be straight purchases, installment purchases, cash advance transactions, bills payment, and online purchases transacted and subsequently posted during the period. Each installment transaction will be considered as one transaction amount.
  11. P1,500 Shopping Credit is only entitled to new-to-bank, principal approved credit card Mastercard. P500 shopping e-voucher is only entitled to existing PNB card holders applied for second/nth card with any PNB Mastercard variant.
  12. P1,500 Shopping Credit promo is exclusive to any PNB Mastercard Credit Card approved and with usage within the promo period.
  13. P500 shopping e-voucher promo is exclusive to any second/nth card PNB Mastercard Credit Card approved and with usage within the promo period. The validity of e-voucher is 2 years.
  14. Cardholder must keep his/her PNB Credit Card for at least 1 year.
  15. Applications are subject to Credit verification and evaluation and Credit Card Terms and Conditions. PNB reserves the right to decline, terminate, or cancel an application and its eligibility to the promo. PNB shall have the sole right whether to disclose the reason for rejection of an application.
  16. In case of dispute on Cardholder’s eligibility, PNB’s decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder’s eligibility for the Promo or for any redemption shall be resolved by PNB at its discretion.

  3. How can I check the status of my PNB Credit Card application?
    You may also check it via PNB Internet Banking. Click Credit Card Application Status Inquiry and input your Reference Number, Date of Birth, and ID Number You may check the status of your application by calling the PNB Cards Customer Service Hotline at (+632) 8818 9818 (From Main Menu, Select Option 3 – Other PNB Credit Cards, Sub Option 4 – Other Credit Card Services, Sub Option 2 – Application Status) or by sending an email to pnbcreditcards@pnb.com.ph.
  4. How long is the application process?
    Standard processing of new to bank application is from 10 to 15 banking days upon receipt of application with complete requirements. Standard processing of Nth card application is 5 banking days upon receipt of application.
  5. Will I receive any call from PNB Credit Cards?
    You will receive a call from PNB Credit Cards for the applicant verification and/or submission of any lacking documents needed.
  6. How long will the delivery of the card take?
    1. Metro Manila: 5-7 banking days
    2. Nearby provinces (Rizal, Batangas, Cavite, Bulacan): 9-12 banking days
    3. Other provinces: 12-17 banking days
    Delivery may extend due to varying local government restrictions in accordance with community quarantine.

  1. Who are qualified for the promo?
    For P1,500 Shopping Credit, all PNB Cardholders with new-to-bank, principal PNB Mastercard Credit Card who:
    1. Applied and submitted application requirements online through PNB Internet Banking within the Promo Period and are subsequently approved
    2. Do not have an existing principal PNB Credit Card upon application
    3. Approved of any PNB Mastercard Credit Card
    4. Spend P3,000 accumulated receipt in one statement cycle within 60 days after card delivery using their PNB Mastercard Credit Card
    For P500 Shopping e-Voucher, all existing PNB Credit Cardholder applying for second PNB Mastercard Credit Card who:
    • Applied online through PNB Internet Banking within the promo period and are subsequently approved

  2. What transactions are qualified for this promo?
    Qualified transactions shall be straight purchases, installment purchases, cash advance transactions, bills payment, and online purchases transacted and subsequently posted during the period. Each installment transaction will be considered as one transaction amount.
  3. Are existing PNB Cardholders qualified for this promo?
    Existing cardholders can get P500 shopping e-voucher for second/Nth card approved PNB Mastercard Credit Card applied using the channel and with specified usage within the promo period.
  4. Are all type of PNB Credit Cards qualified for this promo?
    This promo is exclusive to any PNB Mastercard Credit Card approved and with the specified usage within the promo period only.
  5. How will I know if I have received the shopping credit/e-voucher?
    For New-to-bank cardholders, the shopping credit will be reflected in your next billing statement.
    For existing PNB Credit Cardholder applying for second card, the shopping e-voucher will be send via registered mobile number of the card holder.
  6. When is the duration of the promo?
    The promo is valid from May 19, 2021 to August 19, 2021
  7. Will I still qualify if I submit an application on August 19, 2021?
    Applications received by August 19, 2021 are still entitled for the cash rebate provided their usage is within 60 days after card delivery.
  8. If Cardholder was already given the Shopping Credit for his/her Principal application and then applied again for an Nth card, will he/she again qualify for the P500 Shopping e-Voucher?
    Yes, he/she will be qualified for the P500 Shopping e-shopping voucher for his/her Nth card as long as with usage of P3,000 within 60 days after card delivery.
  9. What if the carholder encountered problems in the redemption of e-voucher?
    In case the cardholder has encountered a problem with e-voucher redemption, he/she may call PNB accredited 3rd Party Service Provider’s Customer Service Hotline: (02) 8788 7000 or (02) 8788 1000.
  10. What if the cardholder accidentaly deleted the SMS for e-voucher, change the mobile number due to lost phone or did not received SMS for e-voucher, what should cardholder do?
    He/she may also call PNB Customer Service Hotline (02) 8818-9818 or Domestic Toll Free 1800 10 8189818 or send an email to pnbcreditcards@pnb.com.ph.
  11. Until when is the validity of the Shopping e-Voucher?
    Shopping e-Voucher is valid up to 2 years.
