How to transfer funds with PNB Mobile Banking?

I will be transferring to:
1. Select “Transfer Funds” on the app menu.
2. Choose “Other PNB Accounts.”
3. Choose source account of payment.
4. Choose either from Saved Payees or add a New Payee.
5. Enter bank account details.
6. Confirm and enter the 6-digit One-Time-PIN (OTP) to complete transaction.
7. A successful transaction notification shall be sent to your registered email and mobile number.

  1. What account/s can I use to transfer funds?
    • You can use your debit, passbook, or checking account for as long as they are enrolled in PNB Digital Banking. Kindly note that you cannot use budget checking as a source of funds to transfer to other accounts.
  1. How much is the transfer fee per transaction?
    • Transfer fee for PESONet transactions is PhP10, while for InstaPay is PhP10.
  2. How much is the limit per transfer?
    • PESONet has a limit of PhP100,000 while InstaPay has a limit of PhP50,000 per transaction.
  3. How much is the limit of transfers per day? 
    • Daily transfer limit is PhP200,000 each for both PESONet and InstaPay.
  1. Until what time can I transfer the funds?
    • You can transfer money anytime. However, for PESONet, all transfer requests must be made before 2PM during banking days in order for funds to be credited to the recipient’s account on the same day. InstaPay has no cut-off time and money can be credited anytime.
  1. How soon are funds credited to the receiving bank?
    • For PESONet transactions made within cut-off time, PNB shall send the funds transfer instruction to the receiving bank on or before 4PM. Credit to the payee account is dependent on the processing of the receiving bank. Please inform your payee to coordinate with their bank of account if funds have already been credited to their account.
    • For InstaPay transactions, the funds will immediately be credited to the payee account.
  1. Can I reverse my fund transfer transaction?
    • Once the transaction has been successful and debited from your account, the transaction you wish to cancel cannot be reverted.
  2. Will there be instances for unsuccessful credit to the receiving bank?
    • For PESONet transactions, the final credit to the payee account may not be successfully processed by the receiving bank for several reasons such as:
      • Invalid payee account number (may be incorrect, closed, dormant, blocked, frozen)
      • There is a mismatch in the name of the payee account from the name submitted 
      • The currency of the payee account is not a qualified PHP account
      Please ensure to obtain the correct account information to avoid delays in the credit to the payee account.
    • For InstaPay transactions, if in case the transaction was successful and yet the funds have not been credited to the beneficiary account, this will be subject to the receiving institution’s crediting.
      Possible causes:
      • Host is down
      • Bancnet connection is down
      • Receiving bank is down
      Funds is expected to be credited to the payee account within the next banking day.
  3. How will the funds be returned to me if the interbank funds transfer transaction was not credited to the receiving bank?
    • For PESONet transactions, the fund transfer amount, net of transaction fee will be credited back to your source account as soon as the funds are returned to us by the receiving bank.
    • For InstaPay transactions, no credit shall be made to the payee account. If the source account was debited for the fund transfer amount and service fee, they will be credited back on the next banking day.
  4. I have transferred money to the wrong account. How do I attempt to recover the funds?
    • As long as a valid account number is provided, the transaction will be final and can no longer be cancelled. We encourage you to obtain the correct account information from your payee to make your transaction hassle-free.
  5. What should I do if my funds transfer transaction is unsuccessful?
