  1. What is a Global Filipino Money Card?

    The PNB Global Filipino Money Card is a re-loadable prepaid ATM card that can be used to withdraw funds ANYTIME using the PNB ATM network, Megalink ATMs as well as most Bancnet and Expressnet ATMs. The Global Filipino Money Card is one of the many ways a beneficiary can receive funds from a remitter. The other ways are: (1) Rapid Remit or credit to a PNB account; (2) PNB 3D (door-to-door delivery) delivered to the beneficiary’s home; (3) PNB Advise & Pay Anywhere remittance for pick up at any of the PNB branches nationwide or (4) credit to another bank account.

  2. What can my Global Filipino Money Card do for me?

    With the Global Filipino Money Card, beneficiaries can receive remittances through ATMs. There is no need to open an account, no worries about a maintaining balance and no need to wait for days for your remittances to arrive! It’s a perfect gift for beneficiaries!

  3. Who can obtain a Global Filipino Money Card?

    ANYBODY, whether you are a remitter or beneficiary, can purchase a Global Filipino Money Card.

  4. How can I obtain a Global Filipino Money Card?

    Remitters can go to PNB Europe Victoria Office and request a remittance via a Global Filipino Money Card. The Money Card will be activated within 24 hours upon receipt. You may obtain a money card for yourself before you leave our country, and use this to store your saved money which you can access later when you come home. Beneficiaries may also go to any PNB domestic branch and obtain a Global Filipino Money Card. Inform your remitter of your Global Filipino Money Card number and start receiving remittance via the Money Card!

  5. When will my Global Filipino Money Card be activated?

    The Money Card will be activated within 4 hours from receipt or purchase.

  6. How much is a Global Filipino Money Card?

    As an introductory offer, the Global Filipino Money Card is FREE OF CHARGE! Remitters will only pay for regular remittance fees.

  7. How do I reload a Global Filipino Money Card?

    You can reload it by calling us at 020 7313 2323 and have your debit or credit card ready.

  8. Can I use my Money Card for domestic over-the-counter transactions (e.g., deposits and withdrawals)?

    No. Domestic over-the-counter transactions will not be allowed.

  9. How will my beneficiaries know that their Global Filipino Money Cards have been reloaded?

    The beneficiaries will also receive a REMITTANCE TEXT ALERT every time their Global Filipino Money Cards are reloaded.

  10. How much can I withdraw from the Global Filipino Money Card?

    Using PNB ATMs, you can withdraw as much as P10,000 per transaction and P40,000.00 per day. If you use other ATM networks, their transaction limits and corresponding charges will purchase.

  11. What if I withdraw from a non-PNB ATM?

    Prevailing ATM fees charged by other networks such as Bancnet or Megalink will be applied.

  12. What if my Global Filipino Money Card is lost or stolen?

    Immediately inform PNB of a lost or stolen card via PNB phonebanking hotline (632) 573-8888 or our ATM hotline (632) 528-3336 (during office hours) or (632) 526-3201 (after office hours). You may also go to any PNB branch to have your Money Card replaced. A card replacement fee of P100 will be charged. Bring a notarized affidavit of loss and valid identification documents (e.g., SSS, Driver’s License, Passport).

  13. What if my Global Filipino Money Card is captured by the ATM?

    If your Money Card is captured by an ATM, report this immediately via our ATM hotline (632) 528-3336 (during office hours) or (632) 526-3201 (after office hours).

  14. How soon can I get my capture Money Card?

    Upon reporting your captured card, you will be given an option to pick up your captured card at the PNB domestic branch of choice (for Metro Manila 1-2 days, for provincial branches, 2 to 3 weeks) or you may request for an immediate replacement of your Global Filipino Money Card at any PNB domestic branch. Bring valid identification documents (e.g., SSS, Driver’s License, Passport). A card replacement fee of P100 will be charged.

  15. Is it secure to keep my money in the Global Filipino Money Card?

    Yes. The Cardholder will get a unique computer-generated Personal Identification Number (PIN) together with the Global Filipino Money Card. The Cardholder may change his/her PIN regularly for additional security.

  16. Will my remittance in the Money Card earn interest?

    No. Funds loaded in the Money Card will not earn interest.

  17. What happens when I do not use my Global Filipino Money Card?

    After two (2) years of not using the Global Filipino Money Card, a service fee of P100.00 will be automatically deducted monthly.

  18. Until when can I use my Global Filipino Money Card?

    You can use your Money Card as long as it has not been terminated. The Money Card will automatically be terminated if you do not use this for two (2) years and load value has reached zero. * * * For captured cards in PNB ATM machines, you may call the ATM hotline (632) 528-3336 (during office hours) or (632) 526-3201 (after office hours).   19. How to claim your remittance loaded in the PNB Global Filipino Money Card via ATM:

    1. Insert your Global Filipino Money Card in the ATM
    2. Key in you Personal Identification Number (PIN)
    3. Choose a transaction (e.g., “withdrawal” to claim remittance, “balance inquiry” to find out available load)
    4. Choose “current account” as transaction type
    5. Key in transaction amount (e.g., P5,000.00)
    6. Take your cash and your receipt.
    7. You will be asked if you would like to make another transaction. Choose “Yes” if you wish to transact again. If you are done with your transaction, choose “No”
    8. Don’t forget to take your Global Filipino Money Card.
  20. How to send money to the Global Filipino Money Card:

    1. Proceed to PNB Victoria Office.
    2. Fill up the Remittance Application Form.
    3. Request for a remittance to the Global Filipino Money Card and provide the Global Filipino Money Card number to our PNBE Personnel.
    4. Submit the Remittance Application Form, the funds to be remitted and the payment to our PNBE Personnel.
    5. Request for the receipt of remittance.

PNB GLOBAL FILIPINO™ MONEY CARD HANDLING AND SECURITY TIPS

You are now a proud owner of the Global Filipino Money Card.

Please keep in mind the following guidelines for the care and use of your Money Card:

  • DO treat your Money Card like cash. Always keep the card in a safe place to prevent theft, loss or misuse.
  • DON’T tamper or allow anyone to tamper with your Global Filipino Money Card
  • DON’T expose your card’s magnetic strip to magnetic objects. This will make your Money Card ineffective.
  • Upon receipt of the PIN mailer, you can immediately change the PIN with a number of your choice via any PNB ATM.
  • Memorize and keep your PIN a secret. DON’T write the number on your card.
  • Do not let others transact for you as this will compromise your PIN.
  • After your transaction, put your cash in your wallet right away. DON’T expose or count it while in view of others.
  • DO report lost or stolen cards immediately.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

From 01 January 2024, we are pleased to announce that our remittance fees will remain unchanged for transactions up to £1,000.00. For transactions above £1,000.00 for both debit card and cash payments, please refer to our new charges posted in our lobby and on our website. Please speak to our customer service if you have questions and clarifications.
