Check all e-mails or SMS properly

Make sure to properly read through an e-mail before following any link or pressing any button. If possible, compare the new message to that of a legitimate one you’ve re-ceived from the bank previously. You can also search for a number that’s contacted you to see if it’s an official line.

Verify a website’s security

Look for the ’s’ in https! Make sure to check the website is providing a secure URL. Ensure the website you’re redirected to is actually the official website. Dummy web-sites may look convincing but could have missing pages and information, so make sure to double-check!

Use Two-Factor Authentication

Activating multi-step authentications make it much harder for you to get hacked, as this adds an additional security hurdle that only you have the ability to cross. Enable OTPs, Face or Fingerprint Unlocks, and other official functions if they are available to you.
