How to stay fit during lock down
Having been in a year-long lockdown, you may have experienced a lot of adjustments: in work, personal relationships, and even your lifestyle. With so many things going on, your health and fitness are key factors that you should not neglect. Being physically fit during a pandemic is not an easy thing to do. Even if there are challenges, there are still ways to achieve a healthy mind and body.
Move
Make sure to stand up occasionally and stretch your body parts especially if you are working from home all day. Maybe do some household chores? Sweep the floor or dust your windows, just to get your body going. Don’t like chores? Walking is fine! Even for just 10 minutes or less, as long as you keep on moving, it will really help your overall fitness journey. Getting the optimal 10,000 steps per day is also a good target.

Meditate
Stress is one of the factors that affect your overall well-being. Meditation can help you relax your mind even if you are in a stressful workplace environment. If you have time, make it a habit to meditate first thing in the morning or right after the working hours. It is important to build a balance between your personal life and your working life. Meditation can be as simple as doing the things you love without worrying anything but yourself.

Indoor Exercises
Nothing beats the adrenaline and energy of exercise! Lifting weights to increase strength, aerobic exercises for tougher endurance, or yoga for higher flexibility. Whatever your goal is in building or doing your workout routine. They all have the same effect of keeping fit and healthy. Match that with a proper diet and you’ll also have that body goal in sight.
