How to send cash to anyone without a bank account?

1. Click SEND CASH on the mobile app menu.
2. Select your source account and input your recipient’s mobile number and the amount to send.
3. Confirm details and enter the 6-digit One-Time PIN (OTP) sent via SMS.
4. Send the passcode that you will receive via SMS to the recipient.
*The recipient will need the passcode from the sender and the Send Cash reference number to claim the money.The Send Cash reference number will be sent separately via SMS to the recipient’s mobile number.

How can your recipient claim the money at the branch?

1. Go to the nearest PNB branch.
2. Present the Send Cash reference number and the Passcode provided by the sender.
3. Accomplish Money Payment Form and present a Valid ID.
4. Receive cash.

  1. What account/s can I use to send cash?
    • You can use your debit, passbook, or checking account. However, you can’t transfer if your account is dormant, in frozen status, joint, and a budget checking. 
Requirements    
  1. What are the requirements needed to send cash to my beneficiaries?
    • You just need the beneficiary’s mobile number.
  2. What are the requirements for my beneficiaries to claim the money I sent them?
    • Your beneficiary needs to present a valid ID, reference number that was sent to their mobile number, and passcode from the sender.
  1. How much is the transfer fee per transaction?
    • There is a fee of PhP50 per transaction and PhP5 per passcode reset.
  2. How much can I transfer per transaction? 
    • You are allowed to transfer at least PhP100 and a maximum of PhP10,000 per day. But you’re allowed to only send a maximum of PhP100,000 per month.
  3. What is the limit number of transactions per day?
    • You are not limited to sending numerous transactions a day for as long as you don’t reach the cap of PhP10,000 per day.

    • You can make a send cash request anytime.
  1. How to reset the passcode? 
    • You can follow these steps to reset your passcode:
      1. On the menu, select “Send Cash”
      2. Select the transaction item, click “Reset Passcode”
      3. Wait for the confirmation to appear
      4. Send the new passcode to the beneficiary
Cancellations    
  1. Can I cancel the transaction?
    Yes. To cancel, follow these steps:
    1. On the menu, click SEND CASH
    2. Select the transaction you wish to cancel and click CANCEL SEND CASH
    3. A confirmation screen will pop up and wait for the email notification
    4. Check your account if it is transferred back to you
    Note that the service charge is not refundable.
